Week 23 - Queens Birthday Progress

So a quick update with my progress for today. I have finished up 5 of the Forge Father Veterans and the Iron Ancestor today. Pictures are below. This leaves me with just 5 more veterans to finish up to have my first starter done. Well, once I do the bases...

So I played the last game of dreadball before the quarter finals tonight. I was playing against Veer-myn, a bad match-up for my FF team. Unfortunately for my opponent I was the underdog, getting 2 human strikers for my team. When he failed to knock out any of my dwarves on his first rush I set about taking two of his guards off the pitch and got my FF striker to score a 2 pointer. By the end of the 6th rush I had won by a landslide, using a human striker for the last 5 points and had killed two of his guards. This puts me back up into the 2nd place spot and now I have a spot playing off for the finals! And my first win of the league! Yay!
